Hey everyone! I'm here at the Holiday Inn at St. Paul Minnesota on the last leg of the vacation. Man, did I have a blast!
We first took a grueling 30-hour drive to Rock Springs, Wyoming. We stayed at the Hoiday Inn there. It's really beautiful there. There's mountains overlooking the hotel and you can literally walk outside the hotel to see the mountains change color. It's crazy!
Then, it was off to Yellowstone National Park to see Ol' Faithful. That was the highlight of the day. The extremely hot water gushing out of the guyzer just made my day. :)
From there, we went to Spokane, Washington to visit my relatives. I got to hang out witht hem and play with the kids and just be me. My cousin Jessie is really fun to hang around with 'cause she's so levelheaded and she's just 14! I was amazed at how mature she really is. I also got to spend time with the Bilbao's, which wasn't that enjoyable. For one, the kids are really snooty, like they act like they own the place and they are so rich they could buy the state. Plus, 10 years back, these people said, and I quote, that "we are the scum of the universe." Suits them right that my mother raised me to be a good son and a better man. I may not have million-dollar paychecks but I don't really need it. I'm happy with what I have, which is a loving family with a good job and a good life. Money can't buy happiness, you know.
Anyhoo, after that fiasco, we went to Seattle for the Experience Music Project. That place is, in my opinion, the best place ever! You get to learn how to play all sorts of instruments, get to perform live in front of an audience and even get to make a live DVD or record a demo there! My brother and I made a demo that turned out okay. I have pictures of it in my digital camera that I will post on my photo album very soon. We then went to the space needle. I went all the way to the top and took some pictures from there. It's really neet to see how small the world looks from 500 feet. We then stoped at the Old Spaghetti Factory and I had the most amazing Fettuccini alfredo you could possibly taste! Yum, yum yum, yum yum! :)
Tomorrow, we will head to Minneanapolis to the Mall Of America, then back home to Rochester. See you then!
